About two months ago, we had been in continuous online communication with a client from Cameroon regarding a VR and arcade equipment order. The client confirmed the product selection and order details, but delayed paying the deposit.
As it was his first time doing business with a Chinese supplier, he expressed concerns about trust and potential risks — even after we shared our factory information and previous transaction records.
Turning Point: Factory Visit by Client’s Friend
Recently, one of the client’s friends traveled to China to visit factories while sourcing small commodities. The client asked his friend to visit our VR & arcade factory in Guangzhou on his behalf.
During the visit, the friend:
- Toured our production workshop
- Inspected our manufacturing process
- Experienced multiple VR and arcade machines in our showroom
The hands-on experience helped verify both product quality and factory credibility.
On-Site Decision and Deposit
After the factory tour and equipment testing, the friend made a quick phone call to the client in Cameroon to share his feedback.
Based on the real factory visit and product experience, the client approved the order immediately.
The contract was signed on-site, and a $5,000 cash deposit was paid in our showroom.
